Can someone who is a working Mom send me a comment about how they juggle everything?! When it was just my husband and me we ate dinner routinely at 5:30 every night; I'm not even exaggerating. Our friends used to tease us that we were eating with the "early birds." I'm having a hard time fitting everything. In fact, I'm pretty disappointed. I've been continuing my riding lessons weekly and last night I even learned to canter (basically the horse was galloping or running) but I think I will have to stop them until next summer. It's a nice way to have a little "me" time. After coming home from work, feeding my son, and then going to my lesson; I didn't sit down for dinner until 9:30 which is not something I want to become a habit. Remember, in previous blogs I have mentioned the importance of keeping your body on a schedule and trying to eat at the same times throughout the day when possible? During the week I'm feeling stretched very thinly between work, being a mom, getting my dogs out for exercise, and finding some time for myself. Not going to happen. Each night I don't sit down until at least 9 for the first time and eating at this time frustrates me that I'll never get past these 2 pounds to my goal weight! I've been so busy at night that I don't even have time for my weekly weigh-in to JC. I've got to find a balance or the stress will wear me down. All you working Mom's out there have to tell me your secret! Hopefully after I have another week or two under my belt I'll develop a routine.
